Dear colleagues,
We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to the 9th annual meeting of the German Society for Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine in Mannheim, Germany. Our conference, with its main focus on the growing field of medical laboratory diagnostics, from September 26th to 29th, 2012, will again attract national as well as international attention.
The scientific part of the conference along with the accompanying trade fair for laboratory diagnostics and bio analysis will be held in the Congress Center Rosengarten in Mannheim, Germany. Organizer of this annual meeting is the German Society for Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine, the leading scientific society in Germany for all medical and laboratory diagnostic tests, from the examination of the cell, over the protein analysis, to modern molecular medicine for genome analysis and mass spectrometry. Therefore the conference represents the current scientifical development of the clinical chemistry and laboratory medicine in the study of pathogenesis, the prevention of common diseases and therapeutic monitoring.
The main topics of this years annual meeting are at the interface of new developments of the laboratory diagnostics and their practical relevance implementation. This conference focuses on the results from new clinical epidemiological studies on Metabolism, on epigenetics of common diseases, the validation of new Biomarkers, innovative bioanalytical methods and modern preventive diagnostics. Therefore the conference main aim is to bind scientific findings with practice-oriented medical laboratory
diagnosis and to sustainably advance the development of the individual patient-oriented diagnosis. We are expecting over 1,000 participants from relevant
clinical departments, the practical laboratory medicine and other scientific disciplines.
